Maxam MCO® Concrete Forming Panels Being Used for Construction of the AQUA Building in Chicago, Illinois December 1, 2007. McHugh Construction Company is using Maxam's MCO® (Maxam Composite Overlay)-faced plywood panels in two separate ALUMA Beam flying deck systems, eliminating the need to change-out panels during the construction of this 89-story multi-use complex. The building consists of 5 floors below grade (parking) and 84 stories above grade for mixed use hotel, condominiums and luxury penthouses. McHugh needed the high quality architectural finish along with high reuse capabilities, as well as no slip safety features provided by MCO®. Details regarding this project are available at www.lakesideeast.com (key in “AQUA Building)”.
