Victor H. Klein III, with over 30 years of manufacturing and direct support responsibilities in a variety of manufacturing organizations, has demonstrated an ability to achieve measurable improvements in facility and process operations using innovative problem solving and unique management techniques.

Mr. Klein joined the Maxam management team in Fall 2003.  Previously, he formed Bear Gap Consulting, an organization founded to provide services to the management of manufacturing industries. In this capacity, he has been involved in providing corporate reorganization and financial restructuring, manufacturing design and plant layouts, strategic planning, to a number of manufacturing startup operations. 

Prior to this position, Mr. Klein served as Vice President of Engineering at Kleerdex Company LLC.  In this role, he supported a major
international capital growth plan and worked with equipment suppliers to develop and run extended trials of an innovative continuous mixing system for rigid PVC compounds. As Vice President for Manufacturing Mr. Klein successfully managed an $8 million capital expansion budget to start a new plant in Reno, NV, and received a Governor’s Award for Industrial Recycling efforts. He also served as Worldwide Manufacturing Manager for the Petroleum Chemicals business team at Rohm and Haas Company, with manufacturing plants in Europe, Canada, Japan and the US.

Mr. Klein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and his Master’s degree in Business Administration in Industrial Management at the University of Tennessee.
