Marcus M. Chase brings nearly 20 years of successful experience within the commercial and industrial construction materials industry, with special focus on wood and other products and systems for concrete forming. As part of the Maxam management team, he contributes his in-depth knowledge and experience in new product development.  Over the years, he has built extensive relationships and earned a respected reputation in the concrete construction industry. Previously, Mr. Chase created and managed the Concrete Form Panel Division at PERI Formworks Systems, Inc. His responsibilities included developing new forming products, and identifying sources of the plywood panels employed in PERI’s forming systems and markets for those systems in North and Central America. He also was responsible

for educating sales engineers within the PERI group about all aspects of panel and forming system specifications to provide end users with the desired type of finished concrete.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Chase founded Constitution Wholesale, Inc., and initially in collaboration with Champion International and 3M Corporation, developed the first generation of a “no-oil” concrete forming plywood panel, originally called, DRI-FORM 90™. In 1995, Constitution Wholesale merged into Chesapeake Hardwood Products Inc. (CHPI), Mr. Chase served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Concrete Form Panel Division.

Mr. Chase earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Marketing from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
